Bit of useful information.  The oldest woman who lived in contemporary times said she drank half of olive oil a day and that was her secret to staying alive.

At the Farmer's Market

Most big cities have farmer's markets where local prodcuers come out and sell the freshest and most desirable fruits and vegetables of the season.  In addition to supporting local farmers you will get the best deals here and the sweetest or most delicious vegetables to be found. Check your local paper or online listings and visit your local farmer's market today.

In the garden

This is me in the garden.  By the way, gardening is pretty good excerise too.  It helps to get a person away from the computer screen and bend and move their body and use their hands in a different way besides typing.  It's great when the sun is out!

Seedlings

Welcome to my home page.  Just as the seedlings are the first thing to sprout, this website is about to sprout and in the Spring it will blossom.

I am just your average urban dweller trying to make a greener Earth for myself and all my fellow Earth dwellers.

I am a member of my community garden in sunny San Francisco where we are fortunate to have many farmers markets.  I love growing, cooking, and eating my own food.  I feel much healthier and happier knowing what is in the food on my table.

Welcome and good luck at growing your own garden in your corner of the Earth too!
